Terms of Sale

Teni Tini is a small shop run by Lexy Wanzell, a sole proprietor in New York, NY. These terms apply when you buy from us on tenitini.com. By sending an order or a request, you agree to them.

How ordering works

1. You add pieces to your bag and send your order, or send a custom or party request.
2. We email you a 6-digit code. Your order or request reaches us only after you enter it.
3. Nothing is charged at this point. Lexy checks your order and emails you the payment details within 24 hours.
4. Your order is confirmed once it's paid. Today we accept Zelle. Card payments may come later.

We may decline or cancel an order before it's paid, for example if a piece is no longer available or a price on the site was wrong. You won't be charged.

Prices and taxes

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping is added in your bag. Sales tax is added where the law requires it, for example on orders delivered in New York State.

Handmade pieces

Every piece is sculpted, baked and painted by hand by Lexy Wanzell in New York City, one at a time. No two are the same: yours will differ a little from the photos on the site and from any other piece, in color, shape, size and small details. Screens also show colors differently. These differences are part of being handmade and are not a defect.

Custom pieces and pre-orders

• For a custom piece, Lexy replies with a sketch and a price, usually within 48 hours.
• You can cancel for a full refund until you approve the sketch. After that the piece is made just for you and is final sale.
• Pre-order gift boxes can be cancelled for a full refund until Lexy starts making them. After that they're final sale.
• Lexy follows the approved sketch, but the finished piece is made by hand and will not match it exactly.
• Custom pieces and pre-orders usually leave the studio 3–4 weeks after you approve and pay.
• Please only send photos you have the right to use. We may decline requests that copy someone else's characters, logos or designs.

Party favors

Party favor orders are quoted one by one. Your quote says the deposit needed to book your date and what happens if your plans change.

Shipping, returns and damage

Our Shipping & Returns Policy is part of these terms. In short: unused shop pieces can be returned within 14 days, and anything that arrives broken is replaced or refunded.

Product safety

Teni Tini pieces are decorations, not toys. They have small parts, and some have magnets or metal rings that are dangerous if swallowed. Keep them away from children under 14 and pets. Pieces that look like food are clay, not food: never put them in your mouth.

Our designs and photos

The designs, photos and text on this site belong to Teni Tini. Please don't copy them without asking. We may post photos of finished custom pieces on our social media. If you'd rather we didn't, just tell us.

Liability

As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. If something goes wrong, please email us first: most problems are solved with one reply.

Changes and contact

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. The terms in place when you ordered apply to that order. Questions: hello@tenitini.com.
