Privacy Policy
Last updated October 31, 2026
Teni Tini is a small shop run by Lexy Wanzell, a sole proprietor in New York, NY. This policy explains what we collect on tenitini.com, why, who else sees it and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to hello@tenitini.com.
What we collect
When you order or send a request: your name, email and phone number, plus your shipping address for orders. We also keep what you ordered or asked for, any note you write and, for custom requests, the reference photos you upload.
To check it's really you: we email you a 6-digit code. We store the code only in scrambled (hashed) form, and it expires after 10 minutes. We also store a scrambled version of your IP address, so we can limit how many codes one connection can ask for. It can't be turned back into your IP address.
Visits: we count visits per day, per page and per referring site (for example instagram.com). The count has no cookie, no IP address and nothing else that points to you.
When you join our email list: your email address, the date and where on the site you signed up, plus a scrambled version of your IP address that only helps us stop bots from flooding the list.
In your browser: the site remembers your bag and a few display choices in your browser's storage. Our Cookie Policy lists each one.
Payments: today you pay by Zelle through your own bank, so we never see your bank details. If we add card payments, Stripe will handle them and we will never see your full card number.
How we use it
- To make, ship and support your order or request, and to reply to you.
- To email you about your order: codes, confirmations, status updates and tracking.
- To send our Tini drops emails about one-of-a-kind pieces and new drops, only if you join the list. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the site safe from spam and abuse.
- To keep the records we need for taxes and accounting.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the shop, and only what each one needs:
- Vercel hosts the site, Supabase stores orders, requests and photos, and Resend sends our emails and keeps our email list.
- USPS gets your name and address to deliver your parcel.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr deliver the fonts and animation code your browser downloads, so they can see your IP address when that happens.
- Meta, Google, TikTok and Pinterest, only if you accept cookies (see below).
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Ads and analytics, only with your OK
We may use tools from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Analytics), TikTok and Pinterest to see which ads work and to show our pieces to you on those platforms. They load only after you click Accept in our cookie banner. If you click Decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, they don't load at all.
When they run, those companies receive details such as the pages you view and actions like adding a piece to your bag, together with identifiers from their cookies, and use them under their own privacy policies. Some state laws call this "sharing" for targeted advertising. We only do it if you accept, and you can change your mind any time from Cookie settings in the footer or on the Cookie Policy page.
How long we keep it
- Orders and requests: as long as we need them to finish your order and handle returns, then as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Reference photos: only as long as we need them for your piece. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
- Email list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a note that you unsubscribed, so we never add you again by mistake.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for marketing. Write to hello@tenitini.com from the email address you used with us. We may need to confirm it's you, and we reply within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for asking. A few records, like those needed for taxes, we have to keep.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Our pieces are decorations, not toys, and are meant for ages 14 and up.
Security
The site runs on HTTPS. Orders and requests can only be read through our own server code and the shop owner's admin area, which needs a code sent to the shop's email. No system is perfect: if a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Changes
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of the page.
